Hello friends,
I have a list of people outside of Tessitura that has been curated, and I want to cross check that list to see if any of the people on it already have accounts in Tessitura. Short of searching each name one by one, is there a way to bulk search, or bulk cross check the database against an external list?
Thanks for any help,
S.
The constituent import utility does this! https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v151h/Tessitura.htm#Constituent%20Import/Constituent%20Import.htmYou could run it in test or run it in report only mode if you don't want to import at that time.
Do you have contact info for them on your list? You can use the Constituent Import Utility and make sure it is set to not create duplicates and it will tell you who is already in there. The utility can be a bit finicky, but it would probably be the easiest way not to to have to check one by one.
Thank you both! I'll explore the constituent import utility. Much appreciated.

I second using the constituent import utility. When we have lists of names and addresses to import, we run it in review mode, which lists the customer_no for accounts already in Tessitura. Then we can review who hasn’t been matched and import those remaining accounts.
One caveat is if the name/address are formatted differently than what is in Tessitura, it might read it as an account that doesn’t’ exist in Tessitura.
Ah, thanks for this tip. I'll watch for the format of these.
