Hi everyone,I am playing around with ticket designs, and I just don't remember the answer to this question so I thought I'd ask here - if I add a new design element to a boca ticket design, do I also HAVE to include it in the corresponding PAH design, or can I leave it off?
Just for background - We're using recipient more and more on ticket sub lineitems, and I created a user-designed element (lovingly borrowed code that I found on an old community post!) that will print recipient sort name on the ticket, or if no recipient, the owner sort name. We don't need that on PAH tickets, but I couldn't remember if the PAH would fail if there was a new element on the boca design that didn't make it to the corresponding PAH.Thanks!Kathleen
We have a lot of duplicated elements on our BOCA tickets that we don't render on the PAH ticket: I don't think an added element would change that. Always worth a testing, though! Just be wary, if you are a Cloud Services (TCS?) client they may not have turned on PAH delivery in Test.
Happy to confirm that a new element on a Boca design does not affect any of the related designs including the PAH template, and you do not need to add it to the PAH design if you don't want to.
