Opt-out contact point purposes

Hi All,

We use an opt-out approach to contact point purposes, and so had been using a SQL job to add our 8 contact point purposes to all new email addresses that are entered in Tessitura.  I recently discovered that that job silently decided not to make the move with us when our hosting switch to AWS last October.  And the job can't be recovered this late in the game.  Also, our beloved IT guy who wrote that procedure has since left us and has been replaced by the 3rd party IT service that doesn't do this sort of thing.

I'm wondering, if you use an opt-out approach how are you managing that?

  • Is it that the Stored Procedure was a nightly SQL Server Agent Job that stopped during the AWS upgrade? Sing out if you need a hand.

    Also if we need to catch up re the graph with the neverending datapoint.

    Yes, it was a nightly SQL server job.  At first they didn't give me access to any jobs so it wasn't obvious that it had stopped.  By the time I got access to those jobs restored I didn't notice that one was missing.  I've got a procedure shared with me from Seattle Rep that I need to take a look at.  I also have a meeting in a few weeks with consulting if needed to recreate it.
