I didn't get any bites in the Fundraising forum so re-posting here. Thanks, y'all!Hello,
Our organization is becoming a Fiscal Sponsor (this is a new term I just learned-see link) and we will be receiving some gifts that essentially don't belong to us. Wondering if anyone out there has gone through a similar experience and how you structured your campaign, fund, designation in Tessitura to fit this situation.
Thank you,

We fiscally sponsor a few different groups. We keep totally separate campaigns for each Org with specific funds. Curious how others do this too!
Thanks for responding, Eric. So, do you name the campaign after the project and the fund after the organization? Or Vice versa? Or do they match? Do you use designations as well?
Vice versa, I think. Fund is named in a way that makes sense for accounting, so 21-22 [Org Name] Individual Contribution, for example. Campaign is named after the fiscal year, so 2022-23 [Org Name] with appropriate campaign dates to the orgs fiscal year. We use some designations, but only for weird scenarios like a voting system for a fundraising campaign.
