Hi everyone.
We were selling for an external third party outdoor event at the weekend which started at 10am. Customers were able to book throughout the day, but anyone who booked after the event start time did not recieve their tickets. Instead, they defaulted to collection only. We did not have a box office presence at the event.
Print at Home should have been the only option available, as specified in the LTR_TNEW_DYN_SHIPPING_METHOD system table.
Is this standard functionality for 'past events', and if so are we able to override it? I haven't found any documentation to help so far.
One possible setup issue -- Is Print at Home associated with the Mode(s) of Sale they used?
I'd check the HABO Days Prior setting for your web mode of sale. We have ours set at -1 (negative 1) and I think this is why.
Aha! Thanks Kate, I think this is the issue, our HABO Days Prior is set to 0. I think we will need to look at changing this.
Anne, thanks for your reply too!
I just walked into this same issue - and for the same reason. Thanks Kate (and Don for the opportune question)
Hopefully, this will help someone. From the help system:
HABO Days Prior – This field is used to enter a number of days prior to a performance at which tickets must be held at the box office. If tickets for a performance are purchased the number of days entered prior to the performance or less, the delivery method defaults to Hold at Box Office.
Note: The two HABO settings can be overridden at the delivery method level when delivery methods are associated with the MOS.
