Hello Friends!
Thank you all for your interest and joining this group! I want to take a quick moment to introduce myself as 1 of 2 of this group's Community Co-Chairs
I'm Autumn Sanders - I am 27 years old and I live in Los Angeles, CA while I work remotely at Ensemble Theatre Company in Santa Barbara, CA. I started working at Ensemble as their Box Office Manager in May of last year and only recently took up my new title. My journey with Tessitura started in 2012, working with The Granada Theatre as their Box Office Associate. I worked for the Granada for 10 years, making my way up the Box Office ladder, working as an Associate, Supervisor, VIP Concierge, and finally Manager. Ensemble is currently feeling the pains of the current labor shortage and we are a bit understaffed, so while I am the Database Manager, I also manage the Box Office. My main focus here at Ensemble is the training and management of our staff and well as the general upkeep of our database. Ensemble is a part of a Consortium of about 5 other organizations, so there a lot of hands in our shared database. As such, there is a lot to clean up. We have ongoing cleanup projects that include creating/closing CSIs, merging duplicate accounts, and cleaning up newly created accounts, however I feel there is much more we could be doing.
Surprisingly, I also have a life outside of work. I am finishing up my time at Santa Barbara City College and will hopefully receive my Associates degree in Communication. I then plan to transfer to Cal State Dominguez Hills to pursue a Bachelors degree in Mental Health Recovery. I live in LA with my 5 lb. chihuahua Tidus and my best friend/roommate Kathryn. I'm a huge video game nerd, my current obsession is Overwatch and Animal Crossing. After work, you will usually find me either playing video games, snuggling up with a book, or studying up on my Japanese. This is my first time serving as a Community Co-Chair and I am so very excited to learn more and work alongside you all!
Hi All,
I'm Grant Offermann the other Community Co-chair and am excited how this group can grow!
I am a Business Analyst with the Minnesota Historical Society. Many of my roles are similar to Autumn's, I come from a ticketing background and my position has morphed into a System Admin (like many of you). We have a few data cleanup processes that are in place and also regularly do an NCOA on our database. I hope that the experience of this large group can help all of us bounce ideas off of each other and manage our Tessitura databases.
Thank you!
Many thanks for posting Autumn Sanders and Grant Offermann! Looking forward to supporting your work with this group!
