Hello friends!
One of the immediate takeaways from the survey we sent out to this community related to our Consortium Leadership Slack Channel; namely, that it isn't something people are using too much at the moment, but that there is interest in using Slack to continue conversations between meetings.
I couldn't agree more! I use multiple Slack channels on a daily basis, and I'd love for us to start using it even more for our Consortium Leadership topics and questions.
If you haven't already requested access to our channel, please leave a comment here with your preferred contact email and we can get you added ASAP.
If you've requested access and forgotten how to get back to our channel, you can use this link: https://tessiturausergroups.slack.com/ and click on the #consortium_leadership_user_group in the "Channels" area. Also, as I've mentioned before, while you can use Slack in a web browser, I would strongly recommend downloading either the Windows or macOS client on your computer or adding the Slack app to your smartphone.
Let me know if other questions come to mind (or technical issues), and we can chase down what we need.
Thank you,
Brian
Hi Brian!
Wish I could consolidate all my various slack accounts...
So, I've used glavers@calperformances.org with the webshare slack instance, but I wonder if you can invite people using Google Account sign in (which I would obviously prefer to use). For that it's gawain.lavers@berkeley.edu.
I completely understand wanting to consolidate that ID process; I don't have access to change up that authentication, but I'll tag Meredith Woolard (she/her) here to see if anyone from the team could take a look.
Hi Gawain Lavers! I just sent you an invite via Slack to join the channel. Please reach out directly to me if you need anything else!
