Good evening all,
Normally I would be sharing a takeaway PDF from today's Consortium Leadership meeting, but we had a smaller group and let the discussion be more organic tonight, so we did not make use of the platform.
That said, we were very excited to welcome from Sydney Opera House to her first call with us, and as always we are thankful to Colleen O'Hara from the Tessitura team for hosting our GoToMeeting and joining us, as well as Meredith Woolard (she/her) for her ongoing support of this group and helping to facilitate our scheduling.
As we wound down tonight's meeting, I did briefly show a sneak peek at the new v16 Tessitura Web in the Sandbox environment. For more information about how to access the Tessitura Community Sandbox and that early hands-on opportunity to work with v16, I point you all to Chris Szalaj's post in the Roadmap forum here: https://community.tessituranetwork.com/tessitura_software_forums/f/tessitura_next_generation-0/26301/tessitura-community-sandbox-is-now-available Even though our work as consortia leaders is not limited to Tessitura and technology, I know that I always personally want to get my hands on the new functionality as soon as I can so that I can be knowledgeable in onboarding the staff at our member organizations as we prepare for full releases.
On a similar note, if you were not able to attend the Tessitura Open Studio last night, the recording of that webinar is now available here: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/en/Items/Videos/Webinars/2020/Open_Studio_September_2020 You'll note that the Tessitura Sandbox Logins and a Tessitura v16 Constituent Records Demo were on the agenda for that call, so if you're looking for something to do on your Friday, you could do much worse than watching the demo from last night and then accessing the Sandbox to spend some hands-on time yourself.
With the end of September near, our re-invigorated Consortium Leadership meetings have been taking place for six months already; please keep an eye on this forum as we prepare for our October slate of meetings, as well as some feedback opportunities for you all to help ensure that this group continues to evolve to meet the needs of all of us in this consortium space.
Thank you,
Brian
Thanks Brian. So sorry I was not able to join. We’ve been extremely busy with evening patron zoom meetings.
Thank you for your continued leadership of this group, Brian Parker (Past Member)!
Thanks, Brian - I wish I had been able to attend but things are a little scrambley around here. October for sure! I really appreciate the post-meeting writeups, especially when I'm not able to be on the call.
Happy Equinox, everyone!
No apologies needed! We'll catch you the next time around.
No worries! We'll see you in October, for sure.
