I was able to get this working for me, but wondering if you know how to fix this so that the line doesn't continue past where our sales have ended?  I noticed yours doesn't do this, but didn't see you configure anything to make it happen as such.  Instead of stopping, my line goes flat until the end.  It should stop at -34 in the example below.

Yeah, and just checking that Current Year is not containing any single sale in the future.

eg: if you edit the dashboard, turn off "Goal", make the graph a pivot and sort by order days prior is -34 your latest date?

Sorry I missed your reply two months ago.  I'm still interested in getting my charts to not have this continuing line, if you're still willing to assist I would be forever grateful. 

I did as you suggested...we're now 5 weeks from closing on this show...and I am seeing that it is duplicating the current sales for all of the future weeks, which if I'm reading you right, you would expect those to be $0, yes?

my formula matches yours so I'm thinking it must be something with the filters?

Let track it down.  I'll have a think tomorrow as it's a lower volumne work day.

If you make the values column orderID to see all the numbers I assume they're all the same.

we might need to drill down into orderID etc to see if there is something on the far right.

Ah, thank you for the point in the right direction.  I found if I filtered by order date>time frame> this and last year, it removed the dates in the future on my pivot.  
On the graph, I added that filter to the formula for the current year value.  I assume since you didn't have to do this, there's something different with my data.

Paging Lisa Robbins since you were having the same issue with your membership chart.  Hope this transfers to memberships for you.

Just in case this bugs you in the future - I found that there was some errant null data.  If I filter by constituent ID and exclude -999999 then the problem goes away
