So I am very very very new with analytics and just trying to learn by watching past videos but I don't see anything on how to pull out information by ticket layer. All of our tickets include a $3 historic preservation fee layer but we need our reports to be based only on the ticket layer GLs only. Can you please point me in the direction of a video or help file that would help me learn how to build Dashboards/Widgets that would provide just this information? Thank you!

I do my Perf date and code as the row
Price Layer Type as Columns
Values:
Total Tkt paid/Reserved Count
Total Seat Unsild Count
Total Ticket Paid Count
Total Attended Count
You can filter under Price layer type if you need a particular one (We have donation layers, Facility Fee layers, etc.)
chiming in with a +1 here! We set up all of our ticket financials dashboards to filter to only the ticket price layer type. The trick is with canned reports and if one of them doesn't account for layers, and someone is comparing it to a dashboard they saw. But that's a whole other problem, lol!
Thanks, Kathleen. I found the option in the System Table TR_PRICE_CATEGORY that you can just check the boxes that you want to populate into Analytics. I unchecked fee and that fixed it. But yes, we have to be mindful of any reports that don't account for the layers. I'm so new to learning this and still struggling with some things, but bit by bit I'm getting there.
