Subtotals not exporting to excel

Hi all, I built a dashboard that has several subtotals within it that are not copying to excel, but are showing on the dashboard. Does anyone know why this could be or has anyone had it happen before? And if so, how did you fix it?

    There are a couple of methods using existing Excel functionality.

    1. Data -> Subtotal (in the Outline part).


    You can click on the minus buttons on the left to collapse the data.

    2. Convert your data into a Table -> Ctrl + T and then make it into a pivot table (Insert -> Pivot Table or Alt N+V+T or just hold Alt down and then press the 3 keys consecutively).
