Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to sort a pivot table by performance date without placing a Performance Date field as the first Row dimension?
I'm hoping this is possible not just for aesthetic reasons, but also so that I can maintain the hierarchy of Production-->Performance-->Performance Date in my table structure, rather than having productions split up based on performance date.

Have you tried clicking the little arrow in the header where you have performance date? I'm having a hard time visualizing what you're going for. Screenshots would help. Thanks.

Sorting by fields on rows only sorts within the hierarchy of those fields. You could potentially maintain your hierarchy by adding Production Season Opening Date at the far left instead of Performance Date, and leaving Performance Date at the far right.
