Hi everyone,
I am trying to determine the "value" of admissions tickets our Donor Level Members have been receiving to see if we need to perhaps adjust our thinking about what access they receive. We use Price Types to indicate the donor redemptions so I am trying to find the value difference between what they paid, and what they should have paid if they paid full price. Does that make sense? So I have Price Type as my Row Total ticket Count, Total Ticket Paid Amount, Total Order Date Base Value and Total Variance to Order Date Base Value as Values and Season as Column. Is this doing what I am hoping or is this field not what I think it means? Sorry, I am pretty new to Tessitura. Thank you!
Hi Laurel, I am new to Analytics too, not sure if this is what you mean but I have something similar that has recently been built for me to review individual production stats. It uses Seat Current base value (rather than Order Date Base value), then for the "Discount" value it is using ([total ticket paid value]) / [total seat current base value]. It might not be quite what you need but may help in some way. We too use benefit price rules for our members which you can see there in the pricing rules.
