Hi all,I hope I'm not missing something obvious... is there a 'user group' criterion in Analytics anywhere? I'd love to do some analysis using that, and while I know I can pull what I need out of SQL (today at least), I'd love others to be able to use that in Analytics.
Thanks!Kathleen
In what context were you planning on using it?
for this first round, I just wanted a simple total ticket count for the past season by user group. Mostly because our sales channels and MOS need some scrubbing and I just wanted to see what our 3rd party telesales did volume-wise. But was then thinking further ahead to things like price types, productions, time of day, etc, etc
The problem is, I don't think that information is recorded in Tessitura. Tessitura typically records who created a row, who modified it last, and then there are a few other places ("solicitor for orders") where the user is recorded, but I don't think it ever records what security group they were in at the time. (I stand corrected, below)
Hi Kathleen,
The user group under which a user was logged in at the time of sale is, I believe, only stored in an audit table in Tessitura (TA_AUDIT_LOGON_INTERNAL) and hasn't been included in much if any helpful sales reporting nor Analytics.
I figured this would be the case (and I get why). It was one of those crazy out there questions I thought I'd ask just in case. Off to SSMS I go, lol!
