Renewal Rates for Subscribers and New Ticket Buyer Dashboard

Has anyone created a Renewal Rate dashboard/widget for Subscription sales in Analytics?  I am also need to create a new ticket buyer report as well.  I am looking for ideas on how to pull this data.  If anyone has any dashboards to share that would be great.

    I have a "Subscriptions Starter Dashboard" template that I share with our consortium users, which includes a Renewal Rate widget. 
    The key here is that we look at renewals based on there being a rollover and a "Subscription Rollover" solicitor when that happens. If you don't rollover your subscribers, you could also replace that in the below formula with a list filter on the previous year's subscribers.

    ([# of unique Package Seat Key], [Solicitor Display Name], [Select Current FY Package Season])/ (  [# of unique Package Seat Key], [Select Previous FY Package Season])

    In the above formula, there are a few different filters on the package seat key count. The Solicitor Display Name is filtered to "Subscription Rollover" and then there are two instances where there is a filter for package season. The Top part of the formula is filtered on the current fiscal year package season -- so this is capturing everyone who has a subscription in the current season and was a rollover indicating they were a renewal. Then the Bottom part of the formula takes the total of all of the packages from the previous fiscal year season.

    You could also use these filters in combination or other settings to get your unrenewed subscribers as well. I hope that formula and explanation helps!

    For the second part of your question, I also happen to have two different first time buyer dashboard templates that pull the data in different ways that I'd  be happy to share with you.

  • Hi  Just wanted to say this formula you have for finding rollovers is fantastic.  I was trying to figure out how many of my current packages are rollovers, so this was perfect timing.


    The first column is just a count of packages in the current season. Second column is a count of current packages where I'm filtering the solicitor ID to just look at packages with 'rollover' as the solicitor.  Then I'm just dividing the rollovers by the total to get a percentage.
