Hi all!
Our organization is converting to Tessitura this week, and I am working in test to configure some of my dashboards. I am having difficulty in finding the option of adding an appeal start date, first gift date, and last gift date. Is this even a possibility, or am I looking in the wrong place? I have been searching multiple sections under values. Any advice would be appreciated!

For 'first' and 'last' contributions, I've used this formula in the past:
Once the formula is in place, right-click the 'Contribution ID' blue box, and select 'edit filter'. Then, left click the 'by:' field and use MAX or MIN (Contribution Date) for the 'Ranking'.
Basically, you're asking Analytics 'Show me all the Gifts (only using the first [smallest] or last [biggest] date)'. I'm not sure about the Appeal Start Date.
Thank you Nathanael! Can you please tell me how you got to this particular window to enter the formula? Did you search "Contribution ID" in a new Value and filter from there, or was it a different selection? When I add a Value and choose Contribution ID, I do not see an option to add a formula. I get a # instead. Should it be a new Column instead? I'm very new to Tessitura, so I am still learning the lay of the Analytics land.
You're welcome!These special formulas would be in the 'Values' Section of a widget.
You would click 'Add', then select your formula components; 'Amount' from 'Contribution Values', a comma, then 'Contribution ID' from 'Contribution Details'.

First and Most Recent Gift Date are available as CONSTITUENT elements in Analytics.
While Campaign Start Date is in Analytics, Appeal Start date isn't a standard field at this time. If helpful, there are some help pages with the complete list of dimensions and fields in each Analytics data source...

Hi Chris, is the First Gift Date option only available in v16? I'm not seeing it available so I'm guessing that's the reason why, but wanted to confirm that there isn't a glitch on my end.
Hi Colleen. Yes, that's correct. First Gift Date was added in v16.
