A few months back, my team asked about how to report on year over year membership numbers. One of the responses involved bucketing, which is too advanced for my beginner-level database skills. Perhaps there is another way you are able to display these numbers in Analytics?
We are eager to hear your process. If you are doing serious data splicing, a step-by-step breakdown would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hi JM, I haven't been able to get a single widget to give me YOY for membership, but I have been able to set up each year in a widget and then you can compare levels from one year to the next. This is based on a dashboard that Nathanael Pearson shared a while back. See if this gives you what you need. You'll just have to change the data source to your own.
