Renewals vs. Acquisitions in Analytics

Hello All! 

I'm trying to create a dashboard that shows subscription revenue by package/season/etc. But I want this segmented into Renewals and Acquisitions. The only way I thought this could be done was to create a list in List Manager of renewals, and another for new subscribers, and then filter my Widgets by those lists. 

List criteria renewals: Package Detail Package HAS "FY22 subs"
                                   Package Detail Package   IS   "FY23 subs"

List criteria acquisition: Package Detail Package Does NOT Have "FY22 subs"
                                      Package Detail Package            IS             "FY23 subs"

My issue is the numbers are not adding up to the total amount, as indicated in the SCs.

 

Any ideas on how to accomplish this in Analytics? Or could you share what criteria you use when creating a list of acquisitions and renewals?

  • I don't know if you do this, but for our renewals, we keep the solicitor as RollOver, so I've built formulas for 
    Renewed, Paid : (count([Package  Seat  Key])  , [Solicitor Display Name1] , [Order Paid Status] ) where solicitor Display Name1 = RollOver

    New, Paid: (count([Package  Seat  Key])  , [Solicitor Display Name] , [Order Paid Status1] )  with the Solicitor field 

    I have found this to me a more accurate indicator than depending soley on source code.
