Has anyone done a multi year analysis of the growth of your organization in comparison with the growth of the region where your organization is located.
Here in the United States it is fairly easy to get Annual Population Counts by County and Median Household Incomes as an estimate of the number of folks in your region and the amount of money passing through your region.
I'll be working on graphing that one later today I hope.
HOWEVER, doing the same for our customers seems to be a bit more of a challenge. There has been a large influx of individuals into Charleston over the past 10 years. Such that almost 1 in 5 people currently in the county today where not in the county back in 2010. So it is clear that the current postal addresses in our system would not be a correct postal address for folks in 2010. We have antidotal indications that people were coming to summer home in the area during the summer month when our season runs.
Has anyone else tried to do this kind of analysis? Regional Growth vs Organizational growth.
If so what was your approach to pulling this data out of Tessitura?
How did you deal with reconstructing postal addresses "as of" earlier dates? How did you deal with the fact that you don't have addresses for folks prior to their connection to your organizations.
Several years back I did done some work on partial re-constructing postal address from the audit logs. Has anyone done this? If not is there anyone interested in paring up to see if we can crack this issue. Particularly for addresses that have been deleted from t_address.
