Building Ticket Count Goals into Tessitura for Analytics

I'm looking for a way to build our ticket count goals somewhere in Tessitura that would pull into Analytics. Our ticket goals are broken out by production season by price type category, so I have multiple goal subsets that we're looking at. I know I could hard code them into Analytics, particularly for a gauge or indicator widget, but I'd like to be able to pull these in such a way that I could display them as a table or column chart. Also for more consistent updates if the goals change throughout the Season.

I'm curious if anyone has found a solution or workaround to this!
  • Hi Christine,

At the moment, Tessitura and Tessitura Analytics only supports the Performance Budget Amount as a ticketing goal. There is an enhancement out there to add more ticket, admission, and revenue goals at the performance and production season level, but it's not yet been prioritized among future were.

There are organization who have customized Tessitura Analytics to pull in inventory content fields and other purely custom data (even the same sort of ticketing goals), and link it up to all the other data in the Seats and Tickets cube. I'm happy to provide intros or put you in touch with the Tessitura consultants who implemented them if you like.

    Best,
    Chris

  • Hi Christine,

I am not sure whether this could be an option for you as we have quite a quirky setup where we have a huge number of "seats" available for each exhibition we put on, but we have been using seat hold codes to pull through a number to analytics that corresponds to a target. Maybe you could do something similar where for each show you create a group of seats that aren't actually for sale that have the hold code "Target". Then you have that number pulled into tessitura with a formula like the one below, and it effectively works as a target by production season.

Happy to give more details if helpful
