Hey all,
I've tried to upload my .dash file but the forums don't seem to like those types of files. If you'd like the dashboard, let me know and I'll email it to you (ccuhel@thesmithcenter.com).

This is a great thing to wake up too. Thanks Chris!
Yep that worked I now see a legend. However, the visual story could be even clearer. The legend shows only 1 item, and the gradation of colors are not clarified by the legend. All that we can guess is that each dot is somehow "Sold Count".
Hi all, I've updated the allowed list of files to allow .dash files.

I threw a hold code filter in there and Whammey! My Marketing Manager is going to buy you flowers!
Thanks Todd Lantry (he/him)
Chris Wallingford shared a really nice set of contribution based widgets with relative fiscal year calculations. Worth a check, and if you have analytics running you can download the .dash file and get it working in your own environment as well. Thank You Chris for sharing.
This thread made me smile :) Well done everyone!
Hi Tom,
I recommended to Chris that he turn off the legend for really that reason. The scatter plot legend only shows what's in the "break by / color" area for the widget. When using a dimensional field there (rather than a value), the legend shows all the members of that field. Here I have a scatter chart broken by Season Type:
When we use a value, the legend still just looks at the distinct values and rather than trying to render a legend for all the values, just shows what the value is called. It would be great if we could get it to show the buckets from the conditional color coding, but that's a bit beyond what we can do. However, there is this approach:
On every widget, you can add your own description. Click on the (i) and add your text. Shift+Enter will give you a new line.
Best,Chris
