Flex packages on the web

Hello, we are re-designing how we sell flex ( build your own packages) on the web.  We would like to enable website customers to select different number of seats ( let's say they are buying 5 min required performances and for two of them they want 3 seats, for other performances  just 2 seats). We are getting Web API error trying to implement this.

Is this possible ? Workarounds , suggestions?

Thank you ,

Sabina

  • I think you're running up against the Tessitura definition of a flex package.

What we do to facilitate our users buying more tickets to some shows is that after they've purchased their packages (or have qualifying packages in their cart) they can go back and buy tickets at a discounted "Subscription Add-on" price to any relevant show.

Another option would be to explore the discounts, particularly in light of the new discounting rules coming to V12: that is abandon packages (as a Tessitura object) entirely and build your "packages" around whatever complex rules you want.
