Wondering if anyone else has come across this:
We just installed version 9 in production and noticed that GetProductionDetail no longer returns WebContent (which busted one of our pages).
Was this planned or is it or is it a bug?
Another thing in version 9.
It seems that GetPromoCode and GetPromoCodeEx now require the session to be logged in. If the session isn't logged in an invalid session error message is returned.
Just wondering if this was planned because it's not mentioned in the documentation or release notes.
Aiaiai. Somehow I read through this thread without realizing that this would be a big problem for us -- which, now that marketing wants to put out our first promotion of the year, I see that it is. Are we alone in this? We distinctly used GetPromoCode _before_ logging the session in, which seems reasonable enough to me.
If this is not going to be changed back, I presume I can safely log in without the source number, run GetPromoCode, then re-login with the same user/pass and source number without worrying about any side effects?
We upgraded our Tessitura to V9.0, then we received 100+ exception emails. even more report server refused to work properly for two days. Now everything is quiet again.
Waiting for patches......
Okay, there is a global ticket addressing both of these issues and others. Check out Footprints. I need to set Firefox to not suppress popups on that site...
