In my experience , password renewal ( Credentials email) wasn’t sent when a customer record had only email associated with the account but there was no login ( in our system login is an email). In that scenario , we would prompt a customer to create a new account and later merge with the existing one.
I believe there are some rules for login to be active ( it has to be associated with a primary email account) if you created temporary logins for customers.

Hi,
Can any one help/advise, We are still experiencing difficulty with passwords renewal on line, the “forgotten password” link is not working, so when a when a customer clicks the link on the website, nothing is being emailed out. I think this might be due to a default source code not longer being active. With in T-Default I found Rental Password, was not longer active and correct this but is hasn't worked. Can any one offer advice as to how we can correct this?
