Forgotton Login link not working

Hi,

Can any one help/advise,  We are still experiencing difficulty with passwords renewal on line, the “forgotten password” link is not working, so when a when a customer clicks the link on the website, nothing is being emailed out. I think this might be due to a default source code not longer being active. With in  T-Default I found Rental Password, was not longer active and correct this but is hasn't worked. Can any one offer advice as to how we can correct this?

    Check your SMTP settings and verify the IP of the SMTP server. Also, turn on exceptions and see if that gives you a clue. And check the SQL logs for errors.
