We are new to Tessitura and are trying to use it to take "reservations" on-line. I have a special buyer type and it is set up for the WEB MOS. The problem is, we need to limit the shipping method to Will Call. Right now WEB MOS shipping is either Will Call or Regular Mail. How can we suppress the Regular Mail shipping method for this performance?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Hi Karen! Generally speaking, shipping method is tied to mode of sale. You can remove that shipping method from the Web MOS in the system table TX_MOS_SHIP_METHOD. Keep in mind that this will remove the shipping method as an option for all items sold under the Web MOS, not just that one performance. Natively, shipping method cannot be restricted at the performance level but there may be other options with a customization or you may be able to create a different mode of sale for that particular event or series of events. Since you are a TNEW customer, I would recommend you open a ticket in TASK under the TNEW & TNST workspace so that we may review options. Also, you may want to post future questions to the TN Express Web User Group http://www.tessituranetwork.com/Community/groups/tn_express_web_user_group/default.aspx where you can get more specific advice.
