Lots of web sites now have boxes for promo codes all over the place. I can put my promo code on just about any page on most sites. But I still see that promo code underneath logins all the time. Seems to me like this is mostly a hold-over from the days before the transfer cart method, but new sites still put that box there. Personally, I always thought that it looked a little odd, even a bit confusing. Is anyone leaving that out of their login page?
No. Because sometimes we have promotions available to a select group (like a fan club) and to get access to the tickets we use a promo code when they log in.
