TN Social Ticketing Webinar Q&A – Continued

TN Social Ticketing Webinar Q&A – Continued, 2/15/12

Since we ran short on time and were not able to get to all questions during the Q&A session of our live webinar, Andrew and Kristin have provided answers to the remaining questions here.

Monica Martin, Oregon Shakespeare Festival:

Can we automatically notify only constituents between certain ages of special offers through Facebook using this app?

-        The app notification is entirely dependent on the friends the User decides to invite to an event.  We do not capture or interact with Facebook age information with these components at this time.

-        Or reading your question a little differently, if you mean ‘can we drive certain traffic to the app based on criteria in Tessitura (age) and allow them certain offers?’  then, the answer is yes… segment your list however you‘d like within Tessitura and use the Facebook path as just another web channel for sales to drive offers or promotions to that group.

Teresa Dean, AT&T PAC:

If a SYOS map is already built for TNEW, will there be an additional cost to build another for the Facebook app?

-        Your current TNEW maps are Flash-based which we are moving away from for Facebook (Facebook SYOS will use HTML5) so it will be a different map entirely in the Facebook path.   We are too early in the project to know pricing structure for the Facebook maps.

Elizabeth Carlock, Granada Theatre:

Are there special considerations for RAMP users, specifically with the prebuilt plan?

-        RAMP (Remote Access Managed Plan) is on the same physical network as the prebuilt TN Social Ticketing application so it works beautifully together.  There are some performance gains by having the two services share the same network.

Mary Neff, Santa Fe Opera:

Will all Facebook transactions be at the household level?

-        For the DIY version it is up to your implementation.  The components call the standard Tessitura SOAP API.

-        Yes, for the prebuilt version, all transactions are at the household level.

Kevin Castillo, Chicago Symphony Orchestra:

To clarify, these plans require a year commitment, and are billed monthly? Also, is there an upgrade path from the pre-built version to the DIY version (say, to pilot the program with one option and potentially switch to another)?

-        DIY is an annual commitment billed monthly.

-        Prebuilt is an annual commitment billed monthly.  We recognize that the prebuilt option may be a useful ‘on ramp’ to the application for those who may want to build their own longer term.  If this is your intent, please bring this up and we can discuss.

-        We can discuss upgrade path on a case-by-case basis to make it as seamless and efficient as possible.

Kristin Murti, Seattle Opera:

When you create an event and invite friends, does it send them a notification that they were invited thru the normal status updates?

-        It sends them a notification using Facebook Request functionality (not demoed today as it is just being completed).

Even if they don’t have the app loaded already?

-        Yes, a user can be notified and interact with the Event Wall without ever downloading the app or being asked for permissions.  They only get asked for permission at the point that they are ready to commit to entering the purchase path.

In Pre-built version, will SYOS (when it’s built later) show where friends are sitting on the SYOS map?

-        Yes, similar concept to what was shown in the DIY version.

Will the listing of all of your productions pull thru Tessitura or do we set those up manually in FB?

-        This pulls from the Tessitura API, no set up necessary through FB.

POP:

Will you expose a toolkit to support Facebook login directly on organization’s main websites?

-        Yes, if you license the Do-it-Yourself version you may use the components for both the Facebook app and your organization’s website.  If you license the Pre-Built version, the components are available for an additional $2,000 annual fee.
