Chrome html table rendering

A quick google search shows that I'm not alone in finding some oddities in the way Chrome aligns things especially in html tables, but I wondered if anyone has any first hand experience with this or could shed some light on this.

I've got this simple html with a table in it (warning: my html skills are fairly novice), and have noticed that the bottom most button on the right side renders off to the right just slightly in Chrome, but not in IE FF.

Am I using anything deprecated or not up to standard? Anyone have tips for html coding for Chrome?
