GOOGLE ad words

Hi,

We would like to hear from anyone who has used GOOGLE ad words to advertise ... Good and bad experiences please.  We just got a grant from GOOGLE and starting out with our first campaign ...

    We also have a Google grant, and we use it.  We also used Google Display Network managed placements, especially more heavily this year, and it has been paying off.  We have seen a huge spike in referrals from Google CPC in our analytics.  No data yet on actual click through to purchases as I have not had time to study it.

    Hi Sabina,

    Did you apply for the grant? I would appreciate any info you can give me about this. We are spending a large amount on ad words.

    Hi Jencey,

    We have a Google Grant. You can apply here: http://www.google.com/grants/details.html

    I think it's been very effective in driving traffic/conversions to our site.

    Thank you! We actually just got approved but our ads are under review. I'd love to hear if it helps you at all. We also just integrated the Donate button to our You Tube account.

    We applied for a grant as well – as a non-profit it gives you a certain amount to spend each month.  It took about a month to get approved for us.  If you need more details I can connect you with Regina – our marketing manager who actually applied for that grant online.
