What is the difference between "gross_availbility" vs "availbility_by_customer" (sic) in the results of GetProductionDetailEx3?
Availability_by_customer displays the number of seats available to the customer associated to the session/cart based on allocations assigned in a performance.

Thanks for your response. Does that mean that "gross_availbility" includes seats for sale in all modes of sale, whereas "availbility_by_customer" only includes seats for sale under the present mode of sale?
Not exactly. Gross availability represents the total seats available under the current MOS. However, it is possible to use allocations on seats that are tied to constituent ranking. The availability by customer represents the total seats available to that customer based on any rankings that may come into play. For example, say you have a 1000 seat facility. 900 seats in the facility have the Unassigned allocation which is associated to the web MOS. The other 100 seats have a VIP allocation to be used for your current members. This allocation is also open to the web MOS, but you have placed a minimum rank value on the seats of 50. So, the only customers who would be able to purchase the seats in the VIP allocation would be ones who a) have a rank type equal to the rank type tied to the performance in the performance setup and b) have a value for that rank type of 50+. So, if a member with the necessary ranking is logged into the web site on the first day the performance goes on sale, the gross availability and the availability by customer would be 1000 – because that customer has access to all the seats. However, if a non-member logs in who does not have the ranking, the gross availability would still be 1000, but the availability by customer would be 900 because that person only has access to that number of seats.
