Limiting the visibility to a performance by promo code?

We are getting ready to put our opening gala on sale and this is our first experience with web sales.  I know it is possible to limit the MOS and/or price type based on a promo code, but is it possible to limit the visibility of the event entirely the same way?

In other words, if you log into the site with a promo code, you can see the event, but without the promo code it does not appear.

Thanks!

  • We do this for our season on-sale.   Donors and Subscribers get one week's access to our season, followed by a week for them and our Email Club, after which tickets go on sale to the general public.  We use 5 modes of sale driven by constituency (two donor levels, subscribers) and attributes (email club) or lack thereof (our general web MOS).

The point I want to make is not that you attach or remove the MOS to provide access to the performance, but that the MOS _dates_ (in the performance production element) drive whether or not the customer has access.  We can set up the performances with properly configured mode of sale dates, and then be secure that the correct performances will appear to the correct customers at the correct times.
