I am hoping for some advice on implementing a refer a friend email campaign. We have seen other companies (such as online book stores, airlines etc) implement programs like this, where their customer receives an email offering them the opportunity to email a voucher to friends, they then click through to a webpage where they enter the friends details and an email is sent to the friends. If these friends use the voucher to make a purchase then the initial customer also receives a discount voucher emailed to them for having successfully recommended a friend.
We having problems working out how to implement this type of program with Tessitura as we would need to track everyone. I am wondering if anyone has successfully implemented this kind of campain using using Tessitura and could offer some details in how it was done. Also I would be curious how valuable you found it in terms of responses.
