Are there ways for guests to opt into or out of communications from Mystic, via TNEW? If we want to have a checkbox like the following:
Is that doable?
The closest I can see would be linking guests to their own 'Interests' page, which would take them out of the flow of the transaction. Is there another way to mark, in Tessitura, that a guest who bought tickets online checked a box to give permission to be contacted?
When are you moving to v16 and have you seen the permissions plug in which will be a free add (as I think it'll do what you want ... and what you don't know you want yet)
We hope to have v16 LIVE by the end of March 2023. I'll check out the permissions plug in- thanks!
Also, do you have a link with that plugin info?

I've looked through the documentation (link), and that is helpful- thanks! I don't see a way to simplify that page, or to shrink it down to a checkbox, or something intuitive and low-click-count that can be woven into a purchase path. Is there anything in v16 that would allow for a checkbox to be place into the purchase path, rather than directing guests to another page, and then back to their purchase?
With the plugin you can choose potentially different subsets of your permissions to appear on the registration/short reg pages (you can't have a different option for each of those), the account interests page, checkout (which it sounds like you want) and possibly some other places.
The PDF link I posted has extensive documentation on all this, although it's perhaps not the easiest to get your head around if you can't see it in action.
Ok, I see what you're referencing, I thinkthe pre-cart page would be easiest, I think, but we'd need to see the visuals. Is this something you have in place (v16+these options for guests in the purchase path)?
We are about to launch in v15/TNEW 7. You should probably reach out to sometime on the TNEW team, but I could also walk you through what we're doing.
That would be great if you could! Let me know what's easiest for you.
This is the link to the Webinar. The plugin was developed for GDPR so you can ask for opt-ins
There are a few options with decent control.
