I'm wondering if anyone who has installed the Vimeo OTT integration using Vimeo's payment processing (no payments through Tessitura) would be willing to answer a few questions for me? Also, for those who do the payment processing in Tessitura - how do you handle discounts and/or free trials? We've been running a custom integration ourselves and are using payment plans on a ticket order, so we create an event on 12/31 of each year. If you sign up in March, our team creates an order for $100 + tax and then creates 10 monthly payments. We then have the Ticket Order Billing scheduled weekly to charge each billing. Beacause we have a custom website, our team created the same thing when you purchase a subscription online. Our difficulty lies in how we offer discounts and and/or free trials using this - somewhat easy to handle internally, but a nightmare to try and apply a promo online.
We'd love to have a less hands-on approach to providing our streaming service and are finding that providing the payments in Tessitura and rolling over all of the orders each January is becoming cumbersome.
