Add Ons as part of the Membership purchase journey

Hi all,

we're hoping to offer Add Ons in the Membership purchase journey in tnew.

I can’t find a way of doing this with the Add On plug in and was wondering if anyone else has done this?

If so, did it require customisation work?

Also, does anyone know if this is something that might be possible in V16?

    Hi Grant, this is Devin jumping in from the Support team at Tessitura.

    There isn't an easy way, currently, to offer Add Ons in the membership purchase journey in TNEW out of the box other than selling memberships as product. Setting up memberships as products allows pricing rules to easily trigger and present a message like an Add On offer but we're moving away from memberships as products with V16.

    It may be possible to add some Add On information or links to the customization that you have now but that would most likely need to be a support ticket over to us at hello@tessituranetwork.com to explore that further with extended services team.

    That said, V16 is adding more robust support for pricing rules connected to traditional memberships and, with TNEW V16, you'll be able to trigger an Add On pricing rule message (or any other pricing rule set up) when a membership is added to the TNEW cart. 

    I hope you find that useful and feel free to drop us a line if you're wanting to explore the customization side of things or upcoming changes in V16.
