Including Ticket Numbers in Confirmation Email?

We see a lot of mobile tickets going to junk or just never delivered.

If I could get the ticket number to appear in the confirmation email, we'd be able to manually enter those into N-scan. I haven't seen this as a setting in system tables and, though I'd be willing to tinker with it, I don't know where the standard confirmation template is stored.

If anyone has overcome this challenge, I'd love to hear about it.
