On the TNEW Create Account page, in addition to capturing contact information, we'd like to add a field for additional information. Has anyone done this or does anyone have ideas on how to go about this? Your help is appreciated!

Unless I'm mistaken, I think Interests are the only other thing you can add there.
My understanding as well. Assuming that is, that you want information to go back to Tessitura. Anything beyond that would definitely have to involve a heavy amount of inventive customization.
We have one SMALL customization in that I created an additional checkbox field in the footer and then used JavaScript to force patrons to have to check that they accept our Terms of Use before creating an account (cookies legal safety move there). https://secure.thecenterpresents.org/account/create
But yeah, anything past something relatively small like that would be difficult indeed.
