Organisation selling tickets on your behalf through TNEW

Hi All,

Our commercial team would like to set up a package with a local hotel that includes accomodation & admission to one of our upcoming exhibitions. The idea is the hotel would purchase the tickets through TNEW on behalf of the guest that has purchased the package through the hotel.

The exhibition is timed entry with limited capacity per time slot, so we do want them to be able to confirm the time of attendance prior to coming onsite.

The Hotel staff will be using the same purchase path as the general public, so ideally we don't want to add custom forms etc that will mean nothing & be confusing for all purchasers except the hotel staff.

I am thinking that we would use the Hotel constituent record to hold the login & the staff would share the login to purchase the tickets. We could have them use order notes to add the name of the guests as some way having the order link to a particular guest in case reconciliation is required.

It's all a bit 'loose' to me though - we can't ID the staff member that placed the order, we can't link the tickets to the guest very well (given it's manual to add notes someone may forget?).

This is going to only be in place for a few months so we don't want to spend a lot to make it work.

Anyone else already solved this one & willing to share?

Thanks all for any insight you have!
