Hey friends,
How are you all adding a COVID advisory pop up regarding what to be expected at the venue and to allow the continuation of the purchase. I know we could do a messaging rule, but that would be in the TNEW purchase path, but not before even buying tickets. An example would be what happens when you click the buy tickets on the BroadwayDirect website here: https://broadwaydirect.com/show/wicked/
Any ideas of what you are all doing to handle this is greatly appreciated.

Chris,
We are just doing a precart customization there which as worked pretty well. There is a second affirmation included in our checkout survey as well. Reasonably simple, but it has gotten the job done, and we have not had any complaints about patrons "not understanding" what they are getting into.
To see it in action, just add ticket to this show to your cart: https://secure.thecenterpresents.org/9376/9384

Hey John,
Thanks for the quick response! Sorry for my naivety, but is that done in Tessitura or in your marketing site CMS?
That is a precart customization that I wrote up. So it uses the natural customization path for TNEW functionality. So it is not out of the box, but also not some weird crazy hack involving cross-wiring three different systems.
I got a little fancy and follow the session so that they only have to see that message once, even if they add tickets to multiple on-site performances. But, compared to some of the other customizations I have in place, that was a reasonably simple one.
Hey John...can you email me about this? My email is christopherc@dmpa.org
Hi John,
I am also very interested in this and would love to hear more if you have the time ashli.york@unc.edu
Thanks!
