For many, many moons (like, since 2008) our email response soft bounce threshold has been set to: 5 soft bounces in a 6 week period will inactivate an eaddress. However, our email vendor says that it is "perfectly safe" to remove this threshold, and it is something that they no longer recommend adding.
What are your thoughts Tessitura world? Is there any downside for us removing the threshold for soft bounces?
