Print At Home tickets formatting

Hi wonderful people,

I am wondering if anyone has pointers in adjusting the font size of fields inserted from Ticket Designs.  In Adobe Acrobat DC if I wanted to make the barcode larger most online guides tell me to make the Text Field Properties\Font Size larger, but try as I might it stays at 12pt for any inserted data.

Does anyone have any tips to embiggen data passed to a pdf form?

  • Hi Heath! As you've discovered, the Adobe settings do not affect the font family and font size of the elements. They are primarily used to determine the element's location on the page.

For text elements (aka non-barcodes), you will need to adjust these in the Tessitura Processing Service config file. The details are described on page 93 of the Installation Guide. After making changes to the config file, you should restart the TPS.

For barcodes, you are able to adjust the height of the barcode on the design by simply resizing the box in Adobe. The width will be auto-determined when the PDF is generated. (N-Scan numbers are always the same length, so the barcode should remain a consistent width.) The numbers printed below the barcode cannot be controlled in terms of font or sizing, but you can turn them off by unchecking the "Print Barcode Text" checkbox on the design in Tessitura (that setting would affect Boca tickets as well) and then you could add a simple text element below them which could be controlled via the settings I mentioned above.
