Question about Calendar setting in TNEW

Hello all,

We at the Hopkins Center are getting ready to put some of our digital content on sale for our season. Our goal is to have events that premier Thursday and run until the following Wednesday. Does anyone know of a way to have the event show for sale on each day without creating multiple events? Right now, we are thinking we may have to either update the on-sale times each day or build 6 different events, which not only causes more work for our box office but also just becomes confusing when reporting.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thomas

  • Hi Thomas,

I might have an idea you could adapt for use to sell paid tickets.

We had an event page set up which was open for Donors that could house an iframe prior to the release of digital content.

It was live streamed on x date but available to view until 1 week later. I created an event so they used TNEW to view it but it was comp tickets.

We set up a new perf type, applied AUX settings (so perf dates would not show) controlled, page content in product editor, added dynamic email content to the confirmations and made the perf date in the build the last possible date of viewing.

If this makes sense let me know - otherwise I'm happy to chat over email about the pro's and con's of this and see if it would be adapted for use on a paid event.

    Thanks
