Question about Calendar setting in TNEW

Hello all,

We at the Hopkins Center are getting ready to put some of our digital content on sale for our season. Our goal is to have events that premier Thursday and run until the following Wednesday. Does anyone know of a way to have the event show for sale on each day without creating multiple events? Right now, we are thinking we may have to either update the on-sale times each day or build 6 different events, which not only causes more work for our box office but also just becomes confusing when reporting.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

  • I know it's not a best practice to create a bunch of new price types but if you had Thursday, Friday, Saturday, etc price types, and you expired the price types at showtime on the appropriate day, would that work? The show date could be the Wednesday date, so that before Thursday, they could purchase ANY price type** for the show but by Wednesday, the only price type available for the show would be the Wednesday price type.

**or if that's too cluttered, just have the Thursday price type available from on-sale until showtime Thursday, then the Friday price type available from showtime Thursday until showtime Friday, etc.
