Pricing Rule question here:
Can you have a pricing rule trigger online, when someone logs into the website (TNEW) and renew their rolled over subscription? Our process is to do rollover leaving the Order date blank.
For some reason I thought I remembered that Pricing Rules won't fire on renewals, because they are already IN the cart; and not being added into to a new order.

Hello Jessica,You are correct, Pricing Rules won't currently fire for renewal orders on TNEW and it is because of how the package(s) are already in an existing order that is in the cart. It does look like there is an existing TNEW Enhancement Request to make this behavior possible, but there is not currently target as far as if/when this enhancement could be made. I've gone ahead and added a note to that request indicating your interest in this being possible as well.

I would definitely be interested in that enhancement as well!
We're not TNEW but our solution to pricing rules for items already in the cart is to move cart details to a temporary array variable, drop the cart and put it all back in. Customer is none the wiser but gives us the ability to use pricing rules whenever you like/need.
