TNew Payment Plan Problems

Hi all, 

We just launched TNew V6 (and can't wait to get on V7 already, lol) and are using the new TNew payment plans. We discovered today that if someone selects an event with a fee embedded in it for the payment plan (our payment plans cost a few bucks), they can cash out the transaction and get charged full price if they somehow overlook the radio button to select the payment plan and don't generate it...

Anyone else have this issue? We're already requesting some sort of fix so we can require those things to be selected, if they've opted for them, but weren't sure if this was a common problem or if we're an anomaly...

    Unfortunately, the native Payment Plan functionality did not work for us for many reasons including the issue you are describing. We had to customize Payment Plans, as well as, the purchase path workflow in TNEW v6 that ensures displaying respective payment plans (based on a chosen performance or a school class) and enforcing selecting a payment plan (full or partial payments) before finalizing a transaction. If a payment plan is not selected, you cannot cash out at all.
