Love to Talk about your Website?

Hello All,

I am looking for some possible organisations to help me out with some roundtable discussions at the 2010 Conference in DC. If you could make some suggestions of organisations that might have an interesting insight or even if you are interested in being a contributor please let me know. The two topics are as follows...

1)      Disabled Access Websites – Do you know of an organisation that has an excellent site that is very user friendly for disabled patrons? I am not just looking for the ability to book a wheelchair space over the net but people who cater to dyslexia, colour blindness, etc. How do you cater to them and make their web experience positive.

2)      Web Development Strategies – Do you find yourself constantly working on the web development process? Do you find that it is always a topic of discussion? Or perhaps you have a really advanced website?

If you are interested or could recommend some organisations for me to look at or speak to that would be great.

  • Hi Paul,

I have been managing our website development since initial planning in 2005 alongside our Tessitura conversion. I’d be happy to talk about lessons learned on the project management front if you need folks still.

I am also part of an RFP committee to hire a web vendor for our consortium that will ideally develop core functionality for all of our members’ websites. Let me know if you’re interested. I’m happy to help out.
