Two TNEW v7 Survey Questions

We're investigating uses for surveys in v7 and generally like what we've seen in our preview mode site.  We had a couple of questions, though.

  1. The CSIs returned include Line Item Id.  This would actually be very useful information for our application, as we might well have multiple line items where the same show has been purchased, but different survey information has been filled out.  However, we can't find anywhere in the client where line item id is displayed.  Are we missing it?  Is there a way to use it to connect the CSI with a specific line item?
  2. For our application it doesn't matter, but when configuring it appears that the survey (even configured as "required") only appears if you are using "best available" purchasing, and does not appear if you are using SYOS.  Is this expected, a bug, or a configuration option?

On a side note, I'm a little disappointed that this does not connect to order surveys in the client, although the TNEW v7 surveys do pretty much exactly what we want, and the client surveys do not.  Basically, we wish we had the v7 functionality in the client.

    Regarding your feedback about the TNEW checkout survey, we have gotten similar feedback and it's a great suggestion. We are starting to look into ways to consolidate a form building tool that would work for both the Tessitura applicaiton and TNEW and will definately keep the community posted as the work progresses.

  • Oh, okay.  I was really confused for a bit, "surely I didn't file a TASK ticket talking about random functionality desires".

    For some background, it's looking like a combination of payment plans and v7's proper ticket limit functionality and performance-linked surveys are going to allow us to finally execute a long-desired education project.
