Hi,
We have used Rank Based MOS in the past for annual online pre-sale. This year when I activate the Rank Based MOS it is causing that MOS to show to the general public who aren't logged in. Then when you do log in, it shows you the regular concerts that are available instead of the pre-sale ones.
Basically it is doing the reverse of what you would expect.
Any ideas on what could be causing that to happen?
Thanks!
I guess double check the source_nos being used?
There aren't source numbers involved in the Rank Based MOS switches.
Right, of course. I'm trying to think of all the issues we've had with ranking based changes, and I haven't seen anything quite like this. How are you assigning rankings?
Rankings are assigned by a process that runs every night. Basically it adds a constituency to anyone who is subscriber. It is just off when I turn on the rank based MOS feature in the system tables that it does the reverse. Basically anyone who visits our site without logging in first is kicked into that the pre sale mos instead of the usual default.
Sounds like the Rank based MOS is being made the default MOS superseding the standard. We are API based here and if a user is not logged in the default MOS is set, which overrides any other commands Tessitura sends through. Not sure if you're API or TNEW but I would say this might be a good place to start...
