For those of you using TRBO, can anyone tell me whether TRBO can take a contribution without entering a ticket order? In other words, a stand alone contribution.

TRBO processes contributions in the same way that QuickSale does. So, yes you process a contribution with no tickets via TRBO. In the database, you do end up with linked order and a contribution records, just like any other contribution processed via orders.
